“Go and love your wife again.”
The relationship between Hosea and his wife Gomer is one with infidelity on one side and love and rejection on the other.
To go and love anyone again is difficult.
For Christians, we aren’t as God would love us again.
God loves us again while forgiving the sins we have asked to be forgiven.
For us, we need a healing of the heart and then work toward trusting again, to then forgive.
God wants us as broken people to do just that as we realize what we have done and repent.
